Tathra Rugby League Football Club, known as the Sea Eagles, has a proud history in the Group 16 Competition. Formed in 1926, the club will celebrate its centenary in 2026, marking 100 years of contribution to rugby league in our small town.

Tathra secured three championships between 1951 and 1953, during the era before Group 16, when the competition was known as the Pambula/Imlay Sub-Group. The club won the Group 16 First Grade Championship in 2019, ending a 66-year title drought, and most recently claimed the 2025 Group 16 Championship. Heading into 2026, Tathra enters the season as defending champions.

To commemorate 100 years, the club has updated its logo, reflecting our achievements and commitment to the next century of rugby league, built on passion, dedication, and respect for past, present, and future members. Tathra’s success is thanks to the men and women who have shaped the club over generations.

As the smallest club in the competition, Tathra prides itself on its family-oriented culture. We operate both junior and senior teams, with seniors competing in First Grade, Reserve Grade, Under 18s, Ladies League Tag, and 9-a-side Ladies Tackle. Our club thrives on togetherness, celebrating history, community, and the shared spirit of being one club.

We are open to all opportunities and we open our doors to any player, family, or sponsor to be part of our family club
