The Group 16 Clubs and Board of Directors held a Telephone Conference General Meeting on Sunday 19th April to discuss the likelihood of a Group 16 Senior Competition for 2020.

The outcome of that meeting in regards to a possible Competition for 2020 was as follows.

Subject to all Federal and State Government Regulations and Restrictions in regard to Social Distancing and Isolation requirements related to the COVID-19 Pandemic and further subject to any direction from our Governing Body the NSWRL ,  Group 16 Clubs passed a motion to hold a proposed 10 Round Competition and a further 4 weeks of Semi/ Finals and Finals commencing on the weekend of the 4th/5th July with a completion date of 27th September, 2020.

Group 16 will hold a further Club meeting on 24th May, 2020 to further discuss and look at the Social Distancing and Isolation Regulations that will be in place at that time and to access if their has been an easing of such restrictions that would enable us to conduct a competition in some format in Group 16.

The meeting acknowledges that the safety. health and well being of all persons involved in the game at our local level would and will be at the forefront of any further decisions made.
